Your Journey in the Assurance FutureLab Academy

First you will participate in a tailor-made assessment center, and you will have the chance to:

• Know more about yourself from the comprehensive analysis during the assessment center (personality and cognitive skills assessments)
• Know more about Audit profession and what makes EY’s Audit practice unique and acknowledged as a market leader
• Participate in a live event to our premises and gain the opportunity to discuss with experienced professionals relevant to Audit career path and EY’s following sectors:
  • Insurance & Banking
  • Oil & Gas
  • Real Estate & Hospitality
  • Shipping
  • Telecommunications

And as a successful candidate, you will be invited in an exceptional Onboarding experience which consists of:

• Get to know your buddy who will introduce you to your team
• Fast track trainings in Audit processes and experience EY’s continued learning by online platforms and by distinguished providers (ACCA/ACA/JES)
• Create your own career path as Junior Auditor and thrive by getting specialized in one of the above EY’s Audit sectors.

Your key responsibilities

As part of our team, you will be using your skills and experience to give companies, investors, and regulators confidence in the validity of financial statements and provide meaningful insights into both accounting and reporting matters and business-critical information or processes.

You will be influencing clients and engagement teams on resolutions that will impact entire sectors such as:

• Hands-on participation in regulatory driven reviews and reporting, business process and controls advice.
• Full cycle of Auditing processes by following all steps that firm and industry define
• Build strong relationships with EY client and your engagement team to build a better working world.

Build a strong background as unique as you are by collaborating with experienced professionals and Audit specialists, and by leveraging advanced digital technologies and a state-of-the-art audit platform throughout the audit process.

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role, you must have

• A bachelor and/or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or other relevant field of study
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English
• Good working knowledge of MS Office
• Eligibility to travel in accordance with client and other job requirements both locally and internationally

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Working towards gaining one of the professional accountancy qualifications or strong commitment to start working towards one
