Are you our new Technology & Infrastructure Expert?

As a Technology & Infrastructure Expert at Intrum in Athens, you will play a critical role in driving and coordinating all infrastructure-related initiatives during a highly transformative period for the organization. You will be responsible for understanding, implementing, and supporting cloud (public and internal) and on-premises infrastructure solutions, while acting as a key liaison between local stakeholders, Intrum Group technology teams, and external vendors. This is a delivery-focused role, ensuring stability, security, and scalability of the technology infrastructure that underpins our business and regulatory obligations.

What will you do:

• Manage and coordinate all infrastructure-related projects in line with Intrum Group strategy
• Lead the IT support team to ensure high level of user support
• Lead the transition from local infrastructure solutions to Intrum Group platforms and shared services
• Understand, implement, and support cloud solutions (public cloud and internal/private cloud environments)
• Ensure smooth operation and continuous improvement of infrastructure services
• Act as the main point of contact with Intrum Group infrastructure teams and external technology partners
• Manage technical vendors, including service delivery, SLAs, escalations, and cost control
• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and operational standards relevant to a financial services environment
• Translate group-level standards and architectures into local, operationally effective solutions
• Support business continuity, resilience, and disaster recovery initiatives
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to infrastructure and connectivity
• Develop scripts and tools for automated workflows and provisioning
• Participate in project teams & collaborate with business units to ensure smooth systems operation

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience in IT infrastructure management, preferably in financial services or regulated environments
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies (public and private/internal cloud models)
• Experience managing complex infrastructure projects and migrations
• Ability to collaborate effectively with group-level teams, local business stakeholders, and external vendors
• Hands-on understanding of infrastructure operations, even if not performing day-to-day administration
• Hands-on experience with Windows operating system, MS 365, Azure Cloud Platform, Networking (TCP/IP, VPNs), Scripting (Python, PowerShell), Automation Tools,
• Ability to perform successfully in a fast-paced environment interacting effectively with different stakeholders
• Experience in vendor technical management and service governance
• Ability to interpret and apply group policies, standards, and architectures to local environments
• Results-oriented mindset with the ability to define and deliver clear action plans
• Ability to perform successfully in a fast-paced, transformation-driven environment
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English
