Role Description

This is an on-site contract role for a Research Engineer – Project Manager. The Research Engineer – Project Manager will manage research projects and teams, work on space technology projects, data analysis, modeling, and simulation, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders on project progress.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Aerospace Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in project management of ESA or EU Programmes, including developing project plans, leading cross-functional teams, and tracking progress and key milestones.
  • Space and Satellite Communications knowledge is desired but not necessary.
  • Literacy in cloud technologies, internet protocols, routers (CCNA is desirable but not required), RF, and optical technologies for communications.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and demonstrate a strong commitment to achieving project goals and objectives.
  • Experience working in a research and development environment is a plus.
  • Professional use of English language as a minimum.
